A would-be robber who demanded money from a store clerk in North Carolina got more than he bargained for. Before he could run off with any cash, the clerk at the We Buy Gold store in Hendersonville NC punched him in the nose on Friday. The clerk, 26-year-old Derek Mothershead, then grabbed the gun — which turned out to be a pellet gun — and called police. Hendi lay bleeding on the floor until he was arrested. Patton says the clerk was on high alert because the store had already been robbed once recently. Authorities are looking into whether Hendi was involved in that heist.

I am sure you heard the warnings of Peter Schiff, Alex Jones, Gerald Celente, Max Keiser and the many others about how the gov. will devalue the dollar so you should take your dollars and buy gold. To the fools who argue that some places accept gold now as payment, well ask yourself, will they accept is as a payment method when the dollar collapses and gold is on a steady decline? The big problem is, that should they make the dollar worthless, the price of gold might go to nothing, as people will rush to sell, as they will quickly realize that they cannot buy food for their family with it. In addition if you are buying paper gold, we all know now what could happen, just look up MF Global and Jon Corzine. What exactly will you do with gold bullion, gold coins etc. should there be no one looking to buy it, think about it, what form of payment will they give you for your gold? The gold chase will collapse just as quick as the dot com bubble, it will be quick and fast, if things get better it will collapse, if things get extremely bad, it will collapse, the risk is huge yet the same people who make fun of the housing bubble and the dot com bubble are pushing gold, some sell gold too. 2012 will come and go, remember, everyone was certain 2000 was the end, stop behaving like a sheep, do your best to work and save some money.
