Just kidding. Kinda
How can I find out if a gold bullion is really from Credit Suisse?
I want to buy one from this guy but he says he does not have a certificate.
It has serial numbers.
Is there any place I can check to se if this bullion is legit?
Thank you. I know it is gold, but what if it is stolen and later I try to sell it and get arrested!!

I reaqlly want to buy some gold bullion b/c of the way the economy is doing right now. My only concern is if the government passes some damned legislation that takes away our gold.
I fear that they would temporarily improve the market while this happens so that they would pay less for the gold they take and then drive it to the ground again, like they did back in the last depression.
I heard that pre-1933 coins can still be confiscated as well. Is this true?

Hi, i am about to buy gold bullion but i want to understand that what should be the price i should expect when selling it back in the market. I understand that it is lower than spot price but how much lower will it be? maybe in percentage.
Can you also tell me if the difference of price drop while selling a Credit Suisse gold vs. American Eagle gold coin.
Thankyou

I was told that the companies like Monex do not report when you buy/sell gold coins, but do report when you buy gold bullion. Is this legal and is this true?
To clarify, the point I’m making is that if you purchase coins you do not need to pay capital gains tax if there is a profit whereas on bars you do need to pay capital gains on profits. I was wondering if anyone can verify this.

I am learning that bullion gold coins are simply the price of gold, at the moment, and that can change daily. I’m also learning that investment-grade gold and silver coins have a numismatic or rarity value.
Where is the very best place to buy the best investment gold coins at the very best prices? I have spoken with so many dealerships online that charge 28% markup on their investment spreads all the way up to 45% markup from the original cost of the coins.
Is there a place where I can save money thereby creating a faster return on my investment?
Which is the better investment, everyone looks at bullion when they think of gold, but I am learning more promising returns on the investment-grade gold and silver coins. Which is better, and why? This seems to be a huge discussion and I haven’t agreed with any of the answers posted on this site as of yet.

I believe that the U.S. dollar will lose value to the Euro. Thus, I am seriously thing of buying gold/silver/platinum bullion as well as bullion gold coins (NOT collectible gold coins) as a hedge. Therefore, I am looking at which U.S. gold supplier (e.g. Goldline International, Lear Financial, et. al.) offers the BEST deals.
